Declaration of information to be provided

TTI International Ltd., hereinafter named as “TTI”, places great importance on the protection of your personal data and commits itself to a careful usage of this data. On this page you will find all information regarding data protection especially in terms of data processing for the following purposes:

1. Website visit

1.1 IP addresses

An IP address is assigned to all computers and network-compatible devices which are connected to the internet. These addresses are necessary in order to be able to use the Internet and address websites. The geographical location of a device can be identified by using its IP address; moreover, under specific circumstances, the owner of the IP address respectively of the device can also be identified in this way.

The usage of IP addresses is conducted on the legal basis of “legitimate interest”. Your IP address is processed automatically in protocol files for system backup purposes, but is also deleted immediately (e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits) and therefore pseudonymized. By this, only a rough localization and allocation can be conducted.

We process data of your website visit on the legal basis of Art. 6 par. 1 lit. f (legitimate interest, e.g. for the protection of employees and/or property of the TTI-Group, improvement of our services, as well as improvement of our website) and Art. 6 par. 1 lit. a (consent, e.g. for the creation of a user profile on our website) or on basis of Art. 6 par. 1 lit. c (legal obligation) of the GDPR.

1.5 Storage period

We store the the following data of your website visit:

  • Data used for analysis purposes (Google Analytics) for the period of 2 years
  • Cookies according to the table presented in paragraph 1.2.
  • Traffic data in logfiles for a period of 1 year.

2. Contacting

If you want to contact us either via Website, e-mail or telephone, personal data, i.e. name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, sender and/or receiver, subject, content, will be processed and stored for the case of unanswered questions. This data is being forwarded to third parties under no circumstances unless we receive your consent to do so.

If you use third parties to contact us, the data you provide (e.g. user name, connection data, photos, videos, messages) will be stored on third party’s servers and might also be stored outside of Europe.

2.1 Legal basis for processing

Your data is being processed on the basis of Art. 6 lit. b (performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps), Art. 6 par. 1 lit. f (legitimate interest, e.g. recording of telephone calls for complaint management, protection of employees and/or company assets), Art. 6 par. 1 lit. a (consent) as soon as we receive a declaration of consent, or on the basis of Art. 6 par. 1 lit. c (legal obligation) of the GDPR.

2.2 Storage period

All the above mentioned and transmitted contact information for the purpose of dealing with your enquiry is being stored as long as it can be closed respectively as long as the legal retention period lasts.

3. Application Procedure

3.1 Purpose and categories of personal data

By transmitting your application information, you agree to the circumstance that your personal data is being processed by TTI. We process your data exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Foundation of an employment at TTI or its subsidiaries
  • Placement in another enterprise or for the temporary placement
  • Evaluation of the technical and personal abilities regarding offered jobs and/or
  • Providing information concerning job opportunities, trainings and career development

The following categories of data are being processed in case you submitted such data:

  • Name, surname, general contact data
  • Information regarding learnt occupations, special abilities, aspired professions and job location
  • Photograph
  • Application documents such as CV, certificates, etc.
  • Information concerning your health such as medical certificates, allergy information, disabilities and/or certificates regarding special needs in terms of the Austrian “Arbeitnehmerschutzgesetz (ASchG)”
  • Further information as provided

Processing your personal data is necessary in order to evaluate your applicability and consider special requirements (e.g. medical needs, physical limitations or religious faiths).

3.2 Legal basis for processing

Your data is being processed on the basis of Art. 6 lit. b (performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps), Art. 6 par. 1 lit. f (legitimate interest) or Art. 6 par. 1 lit. a (consent) of the GDPR as soon as we receive a declaration of consent. Information regarding specific requirements, which represent a special category of personal data, e.g. medical reports, is being processed on the basis of Art. 9 par. 2 lit. b (legal obligations of the employment law) of the GDPR.

3.3 Storage period

All the above mentioned and transmitted personal data for the purpose of placement of a specific employment is being stored as long as it is vital to make a decision concerning your application, but at the longest for the period of up to six months after a possible rejection of your application for the purpose of defense of titles.

In case you transmitted a consent to keep your date up-to-date or in case you transmitted a speculative application, we store your data for the period of five years.

3.4 Data transfer

For the purpose of foundation of an employment, your personal data is forwarded to potential employers.

4. Customer rights

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time if our data processing is based on a consent that you have given us. By this, the lawfulness of data processing based on consent before its withdrawal remains unaffected. You have the right to request from the controller access to and rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing concerning your personal data or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability. Those rights can be exercised to TTI via telephone, e-mail or postal message. In case you deem that processing your data violates the GDPR or any charges in terms of data protection law you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Datenschutzbehörde.
