TTI is seeking for an Accountant for one of our top clients based in Malta. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health and compliance of the company. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about financial management, this position is perfect for you.
Tasks
- Prepare and submit monthly management accounts
- Compile and file VAT returns accurately and on time
- Ensure compliance with statutory and internal financial policies
- Review and improve internal control procedures
- Monitor and manage company costs, including job/project costing
- Lead the budgeting process and assist in cash flow management
- Process monthly work-in-progress (WIP) calculations
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses
- Manage and mentor the accounts team
Requirements
- ACCA qualification or in final stages, or a degree in Accounting/Finance
- Experience in a project-based company is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Knowledge of cost accounting, project costing, and budgeting
- Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and team management abilities
