Associate - Payroll (m/f/o)

Tasks

• Prepare and manage the periodical payrolls for a variety of clients
  
  
  
• Processing of various payroll reports requested by clients
  
  
  
• Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data in the relevant payroll system
  
  
  
• Issue payroll related documents as required by Law such as FS3, FS5 and FS7 forms
  
  
  
• Preparing and processing documents for newly engaged and terminated employees and in a timely manner
  
  
  
• Maintain client confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
  
  
  
• Engage in month-end consolidation and reconciliation and payment of payroll taxes as required
  
  
  
• Assisting in the invoicing and billing of the company’s clients
  
  
  
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing internally set targets as needed
  
  
  
• Engage in any other related tasks as assigned by Management

Requirements

• A’level standard of education
  
  
  
• A minimum of 2 years working experience in running payroll
  
  
  
• Hands-on experience with Shireburn Indigo shall be considered an asset
  
  
  
• Have good interpersonal skills – fluency in English and Maltese is a must whilst further languages, namely Italian, would be an advantage
  
  
  
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  
  
  
• Highly organised with a high attention to detail
  
  
  
• Ability to work on own initiative and under strict deadlines
