TTI is seeking for an Head of Engineering, Maintenance & SHE for one of our top clients. Our client is a leading entity in Pharmaceutical Services.

 


Tasks

  • Oversees and manages all functions relating to the planning, design and implementation of facility, equipment and process / system projects, which includes conducting design studies and related analyses, preparing capital expense justifications, ensuring design specifications are in compliance with cGMPs, project tracking and control of implementation activities
  • Reviews all conceptual designs of engineering and capital projects and evaluates cost before capital approval related to construction and process equipment; assists in the development of cost and schedule for various projects
  • Directs the construction maintenance and repair activities of all facilities, utilities, equipment, building, grounds, housekeeping, sanitation, waste disposal
  • Provides timely manufacturing engineering support to all of the departments, including production, packaging and laboratories as necessary
  • Oversees the overall safety, health and environment function within the site, including activities and programs driven both by the Group and local initiatives; ensuring a safe working environment; and compliance including internal audits, policies and procedures
  • Prepares and manages the department’s budget and evaluates new equipment and other capital expenditures and submits purchasing recommendations
  • Regularly reviews construction, equipment, quality assurance, environmental systems, utilities, projects and maintenance operations for potential cost savings and improvements.
     

Requirements

  • A degree in Engineering preferably with a Maltese warrant.
  • Proven experience within the respective functions at management level.
  • The ability to create, develop and implement strategies for efficient and cost-effective management of allocated resources.
  • Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • A result-oriented and service minded; ability to effectively manage multiple projects, duties and assignments.
