Head of Section (m/f/o)

Tasks

• Organize and execute production plans based on specific requests and market demand
  
• Prepare and manage the daily work schedule for the section
  
• Monitor progress to ensure tasks are completed on time
  
• Ensure high product and service quality, adhering to established procedures
  
• Monitor the efficiency of operations and implement corrective actions
  
• Collect and report production data as required
  
• Ensure adequate stock levels of finished products
  
• Enforce Health and Safety regulations and procedures
  
• Report and resolve equipment breakdowns in a timely manner
  
• Maintain records of machinery under maintenance by third parties
  
• Coordinate preventive maintenance with Plant Maintenance
  
• Ensure routine maintenance is carried out regularly
  
• Monitor machinery and equipment performance and condition
  
• Oversee vehicle use, loading schedules, and operating expenses (maintenance/fuel)
  
• Ensure safety devices and equipment are properly used
  
• Authorize working hours, overtime, and vacation leave requests
  
• Handle recruitment, employee scheduling, and performance evaluations
  
• Ensure the quality and availability of raw materials, and manage stocktaking
  
• Coordinate with the sales team on orders, stock, and deliveries
  
• Control operational expenses and achieve company-set targets for efficiency, output, and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Proven experience in plant or production management, preferably in precast or manufacturing industries
  
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
  
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance and production processes
  
• Ability to manage and motivate a team
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  
• Strong communication skills for effective coordination across departments
  
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in an industrial environment
  
• Basic understanding of raw material management and inventory control
  
• Ability to manage budgets and operational costs effectively
