TTI is seeking for a Mechanical Project Manager for one of our top clients based in Malta.
Tasks
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the project management department
- Develop and implement departmental goals, policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure effective project delivery
- Mentor and support project managers in their professional development and project execution
- Develop comprehensive project plans including risk management plans to mitigate potential project disruption
- Oversee and track departmental expenditures, including resource allocation, training expenses, and operational costs, against budgetary allocations
- Implement cost-control measures as necessary to optimize departmental spending and enhance profitability
- Analyze departmental performance metrics and project financial data to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and maximizing profit margins
- Collaborate with project managers
- Prepare and submit required financial reports
- Maintain accurate records of departmental expenditures, including Works in Progress (WIP) records, to ensure transparency and compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Allocate resources efficiently
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong communication channels and managing expectations
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Oversee project activities to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and legal requirements
Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Fire Safety Security Management, or a related field with some exposure in a project management role or certification in project management is desirable.
- Minimum of 3-4 years work experience in a project management role, demonstrating successful completion of projects
- Valid Maltese driving license
- Certification in project management is desirable
