TTI is seeking a Mechatronic Supervisor for EOT Cranes for one of our premier clients. Our client is a global leader in industrial overhead cranes, jib cranes, gantry cranes, and advanced lifting solutions for steel factories and ports.
The overall purpose of this position is to guarantee the contractual performance of the plant which can allow an easy and fast commissioning. The Mechatronic Supervisor oversees open package inspections, installation, commissioning, certification, troubleshooting, and team coordination for cranes during all operational phases. The position requires working in industrial steel factory environments, sometimes in elevated areas.
Tasks
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and certification of industrial cranes (EOT, Jib, Gantry, Automatic) ranging from 5 to 450 tons
- Supervise open package inspections, identifying and reporting missing components and documentation
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, automation, and hydraulic) ensuring adherence to safety and technical standards
- Provide technical guidance to customers, ensuring proper assembly and installation of machinery
- Supervise customer technicians during cold and hot internal tests, and conduct autonomous commissioning if necessary
- Supervise open package activity, identify missing goods, machines and components and as well missing documentation
- Oversee load tests and execute performance tests, ensuring they meet contractual obligations in coordination with the final customer
- Prepare and sign formal handover documentation, including PAC, FAC, and punch lists
- Act as a liaison between the site and headquarters, managing all technical documentation and reporting weekly on progress, critical points, and future plans
- Prepare as-built documentation for any on-site modifications and coordinate with technical offices for approval
- Ensure non-conformity reporting and drive problem-solving efforts
Requirements
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical diploma
- 3-10 years of experience in heavy industries, particularly with overhead cranes (EOT)
- 1-5 years of technical office experience in instrumentation design
- Basic knowledge of Siemens PLC control system
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
- Hands-on experience with heavy lifting plans and troubleshooting
- Strong mechanical alignment, electrical, and maintenance skills
