Senior IT Support (m/f/o)

Tasks

• Serve as the primary point of contact for IT support inquiries
  
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues efficiently
  
• Maintain IT inventories, documentation, and ticketing systems meticulously
  
• Procure, configure, and deploy endpoint devices
  
• Administer and maintain network devices, including switches, routers, and firewalls
  
• Monitor, manage, and optimize LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN networks
  
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and coordinate with service providers as needed
  
• Plan and execute patching and updates for servers, operating systems, and critical infrastructure components
  
• Implement vulnerability remediation measures to mitigate security risks
  
• Ensure timely firmware updates for network and security appliances
  
• Conduct controlled and planned patching to minimize downtime
  
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes such as patch and change management processes

Requirements

• Hold an Advanced Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent experience
  
• 3+ years of experience in IT system administration, networking, and technical support
  
• Proficiency in Windows Server/Client environments (experience with Linux is an asset)
  
• Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365 (Azure/AWS knowledge is a plus)
  
• Strong understanding of network security protocols, switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and SD-WAN technologies
  
• Knowledge of SD-WAN and Zero Trust security frameworks
  
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and security compliance frameworks
  
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to troubleshooting IT issues
  
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (or equivalent) will be considered an asset
  
• Excellent written and spoken English is required
