TTI is seeking for a Technical Sales Solution Engineer - Mechanical for one of our top clients based in Malta.
The Technical Sales Solution Engineer will be responsible for coordinating bid preparations, executing design tasks, and compiling the required documentation for comprehensive submissions. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to provide tailored solutions to meet clients’ needs.
Tasks
- Design technically sound and cost-effective solutions that meet client requirements while adhering to budget constraints
- Review customer inquiries and develop feasible, costed solutions
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project feasibility and identify potential risks or challenges
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Prepare and manage proposals, including cost estimations and necessary documentation for submissions
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring solutions are aligned with their needs and expectations
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, preferably in fire safety and security
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred)
- Valid Maltese driving license
- High level of attention to detail ensuring quality project deliverables and accurate documentation
- Knowledge of market trends, the ability to identify new business opportunities, and build lasting client relationships
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Excel, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD)
- Strong understanding of budgeting principles and financial management practices
- Strong commitment to embracing and upholding the company's values, mission, policies, and procedures
