TTI is seeking a Direct Tax Compliance Specialist for one of our top clients. Our client is a well-established Maltese firm offering a comprehensive range of corporate, trust, and investment services. With decades of experience and a strong regulatory foundation, the company is known for delivering tailored financial solutions to both private and institutional clients.
Tasks
- Lead and grow the corporate direct tax service line
- Define and implement the tax strategy in line with the firm’s objectives
- Provide tax advice on corporate structuring, reorganisations, M&A, and cross-border transactions
- Oversee corporate tax compliance, including returns, reporting, and statutory filings
- Advise on transfer pricing, OECD BEPS, Pillar 2, CRS, FATCA, and related frameworks
- Act as the main tax contact for key clients
- Develop tax policies, procedures, risk frameworks, and best practices
- Build strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with other service lines to cross-sell tax services
- Lead, mentor, and develop the tax team
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, Law, Taxation, or equivalent qualification
- Extensive experience in direct tax advisory, compliance, and planning
- Previous experience in professional services or financial services
- Strong knowledge of Maltese tax legislation and international tax frameworks
- Experience with corporate structuring, transfer pricing, and regulatory reporting
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent client relationship and business development skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professional judgment
- Ability to manage multiple clients, priorities, and deadlines
Salary
€45,000 – €50,000 gross per year, depending on experience.
