TTI is seeking for a Junior Fintech and Financial Services for one of our top clients. Our client is a leading multidisciplinary law firm with offices across Europe, renowned for its expertise in fintech, gaming, corporate law, and regulatory matters.



Tasks

  • Conducting legal research on crypto/digital assets and financial services regulation, verified against primary sources, including legislation, regulatory guidance, and case law, and reasoning through open questions where guidance is limited or still emerging
  • Drafting memoranda, legal opinions, and regulatory reference materials, primarily relating to MiCA and payments and e-money frameworks, including PSD2 and EMD2
  • Helping to design and improve the practical tools and reference materials provided to clients, while bringing fresh ideas on how complex regulation can be presented clearly and usefully
  • Supporting licensing and authorisation applications and related correspondence with regulators
  • Assisting with crypto-asset classification analyses, including more ambiguous cases that require careful and innovative reasoning
  • Tracking and summarising regulatory developments across relevant EU and international jurisdictions, and considering their potential implications for clients
  • Contributing to the development of the Firm’s expertise and reputation in Fintech & Financial Services-related legal areas, while supporting business development efforts

Requirements

  • Law degree or another relevant qualification in financial services regulation, fintech, or a related discipline
  • At least two years experience in Fintech & Financial services, or a related area is desirable. Candidates with less experience who demonstrate strong interest, aptitude, and a commitment to developing their career within Fintech and digital assets will also be considered
  • Excellent written and spoken English; proficiency in additional languages will be considered an asset
  • Strong drafting and legal research skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • An inquisitive and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to analyse novel legal questions where established guidance may be limited
  • Exposure to MiCA, payments and e-money regulatory work, and familiarity with EU financial services legislation would be considered a plus
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and meet tight deadlines effectively

€28,000 – €34,000 gross per year, depending on experience.
