Multidisciplinary Design Coordinator (m/f/o)

Tasks

• Coordinate design and technical deliverables across Architecture, Interior Design, Civil, Structural, and MEP / Building Services disciplines
• Liaise with external consultants, specialist designers, and technical advisors to ensure alignment and timely input
• Support project leads in managing design interfaces between internal teams and external stakeholders
• Track design dependencies, technical queries, clashes, missing information, and coordination actions through to closure
• Coordinate design packages, deliverable schedules, and submission requirements across all disciplines
• Manage drawing registers, document control, transmittals, RFIs, action trackers, and revision logs
• Assist in compiling submission packages for clients, authorities, consultants, and contractors
• Ensure all issued information follows project standards, naming conventions, version control, and filing protocols
• Prepare meeting agendas, record minutes, and maintain action logs
• Follow up with internal teams and external consultants to ensure deadlines and coordination actions are met
• Support communication between QP, clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and advisors
• Support coordination reviews to identify inconsistencies, gaps, conflicts, or missing technical input
• Monitor deliverables against programme and flag risks, delays, and coordination bottlenecks
• Maintain visibility on design decisions, scope changes, and client instructions to reduce rework and support delivery

Requirements

• Experience in a design coordination role within a multidisciplinary consultancy, architecture studio, engineering practice, or similar environment
• Strong understanding of coordination across Architecture, Interior Design, Civil, Structural, and MEP disciplines
• Experience working with both internal teams and external consultants
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and document control accuracy
• Strong communication skills with a professional, client-facing approach
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and document control systems is an advantage
• Proactive, structured, and solutions-oriented mindset
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and keep teams aligned
