Piping Supervisor (m/f/o)

Tasks

• Supervise piping installation, fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of industrial piping systems within plant environments
  
• Coordinate daily activities of piping technicians, welders, fitters, contractors, and subcontractors on site
  
• Oversee installation works related to piping systems for industrial plants such as process piping, cooling water systems, hydraulic and lubrication lines, gas and air systems, and auxiliary plant piping networks
  
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during all site activities
  
• Review and interpret piping drawings, P&IDs, isometric drawings, layouts, and technical documentation to support execution of works
  
• Monitor work progress, report status updates, and coordinate with project managers, engineers, and commissioning teams
  
• Support piping testing, flushing, pressure testing, and commissioning activities during project execution
  
• Verify quality of piping installations and ensure adherence to technical specifications, welding procedures, and project standards
  
• Coordinate required tools, equipment, and materials for piping activities on site
  
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to piping teams throughout project phases
  

Requirements

• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or a related technical field
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience supervising piping works within heavy industry environments such as steel plants, rolling mills, metals processing facilities, or large industrial plants
  
• Proven experience in installation, fabrication, maintenance, or commissioning of industrial piping systems
  
• Ability to read and interpret piping drawings, P&IDs, isometric drawings, technical specifications, and plant layouts
  
• Strong leadership and coordination skills with the ability to manage multicultural site teams
  
• Good knowledge of industrial safety standards, welding procedures, and piping installation practices
  
• Experience working on international industrial projects or EPC environments is an advantage
  
• Good command of English; additional languages are considered beneficial
  
• Willingness to travel and work on-site for international projects
  
  
  The role involves supervising site teams during installation, shutdowns, upgrades, and commissioning phases of industrial plants such as steel mills, rolling mills, continuous casting lines, and metal processing facilities.
  The successful candidate will ensure that piping works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with engineering specifications, project schedules, and quality standards.
  This position is suited for candidates with experience in heavy industry environments such as steel plants, rolling mills, industrial processing lines, or large industrial piping systems.
