TTI is seeking a Accounting Department Manager for one of our top clients. Our client is a well-established Maltese firm offering a comprehensive range of corporate, trust, and investment services. With decades of experience and a strong regulatory foundation, the company is known for delivering tailored financial solutions to both private and institutional clients.
Tasks
- Oversee daily operations of the Accounts Department, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Manage client accounts, reconciliations, and statutory compliance (e.g. tax, audit, financial statements)
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of accounting staff
- Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and clients
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives
- Ensure compliance with local laws, international standards, and internal policies
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA qualified or in final stages)
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial roles
- Experience in corporate services, accounting firms, or professional services industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local regulatory frameworks
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and client-facing skills
- Proficient in accounting software (particularly Xero) and MS Excel
