TTI is seeking for an Electrical Engineer for one of our top clients based in Malta. Our client is a leading company specialising in the design, engineering and management of the built environment, infrastructure, archaeological and geomatics services.
Tasks
- Design and supervise the installation of electrical building services systems, including lighting, power distribution, ELV systems, lifts, BMS, escalators, lightning protection and fire alarm systems
- Lead electrical and M&E design packages from concept through to detailed design and construction, ensuring full coordination with other disciplines
- Support PMC-related engineering activities such as peer reviews, quality assurance, technical assessments and site supervision
- Monitor site works, witness testing and commissioning of systems, ensuring compliance with contract documentation, legislation and health & safety standards
- Ensure all as-built documentation is complete, accurate and coordinated prior to project handover
- Assist with commercial aspects, including payment applications, variations and claims
- Monitor building systems performance and maintenance requirements, including integration of new technologies
- Ensure all building services aspects are delivered in line with company quality and performance standards
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in building services engineering design across concept, scheme and detailed stages
- Experience working on complex, multi-sector projects
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance, health & safety and environmental sustainability in engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Experience with BIM tools such as Revit, and engineering software like HAP or IES is an advantage
- Experience in QA/QC processes, peer reviews and site supervision
- Strong understanding of technical, contractual and safety requirements
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
