Tasks

• Lead the Actuarial team under IFRS and Solvency II, including technical provisions, capital requirements, and regulatory actuarial reporting
• Provide actuarial advice to the Board and Executive Team on commercial decisions, risk exposure, product strategy, and long-term business planning
• Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team of actuaries and trainees, fostering technical excellence and high performance
• Work cross-functionally with Risk, Finance, Underwriting, and Product teams to influence key business outcomes
• Promote strong actuarial governance, best-practice standards, and sound professional judgement across the organisation
• Engage with auditors, regulators, and senior stakeholders at both local and group level
• Oversee credit-related protection products, affinity protection lines, and loan-associated protection coverage, ensuring technically accurate and commercially aligned outputs
• Monitor portfolio performance using BI tools, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability and sustainability
• Lead underwriting and actuarial studies, including pricing, reserving, and business risk assessments
• Support product development and commercial teams with actuarial insight
• Challenge and validate the work of external actuarial partners and service providers
• Prepare and present actuarial reports and technical analyses for internal and external stakeholders
• Develop actuarial methodologies, frameworks, and governance standards aligned with regulatory and business growth requirements

Requirements

• Master’s degree or recognised professional actuarial qualification in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or finance
• Minimum 7 years of actuarial experience, with strong exposure to reserving and/or pricing
• Proven experience with Solvency II, IFRS reporting, and actuarial governance frameworks
• Experience with credit-related protection products or affinity insurance lines is an advantage
• High proficiency in Excel and experience with BI tools and actuarial/statistical software
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical results into clear business recommendations
• Excellent written and spoken English; French is an asset but not required
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills

• Comfortable interacting with senior management, auditors, and regulators
