Mechanical Project Lead (m/f/o)

Tasks

• Lead and supervise on-site mechanical installations, including fire suppression systems, wet firefighting systems, fire pumps, dry risers, and associated pipe fitting
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring installations meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Attend project progress meetings, report on site status, and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain alignment and resolve challenges
• Review, interpret, and work from technical drawings, schematics, and datasheets to ensure accurate and efficient execution
• Coordinate daily site operations, supporting technicians and subcontractors while maintaining safety and productivity
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with internal processes and industry best practices
• Assist with planning and forecasting material requirements to support uninterrupted project progression
• Uphold workplace safety standards and promote safe practices across all on-site activities

Requirements

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role with strong technical expertise in mechanical systems
• Experience leading or coaching on-site personnel, with confidence navigating construction environments
• Positive attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable using hand tools and able to work at heights when required
• Ability to prepare, understand, and interpret technical drawings and datasheets
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple project tasks effectively
• A valid driving licence is required
• Proficiency in relevant project or technical software is considered an advantage
