TTI is seeking a Mechanical Supervisors to oversee mechanical installation, assembly, and maintenance activities for large-scale industrial equipment within metals and heavy industry projects in worldwide locations (accordingly with projects needs).
Tasks
- Supervise mechanical installation, alignment, assembly, and maintenance of industrial equipment and plant machinery
- Coordinate daily activities of mechanical technicians, contractors, and subcontractors on site
- Oversee installation works related to heavy industrial equipment such as rolling mills, casting machines, processing lines, furnaces, conveyors, and auxiliary plant systems
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during all site activities
- Review and interpret mechanical drawings, layouts, and technical documentation to support execution of works
- Monitor work progress, report status updates, and coordinate with project managers, engineers, and commissioning teams
- Support mechanical commissioning, start-up activities, and troubleshooting during project execution
- Verify quality of mechanical installations and ensure adherence to technical specifications and procedures
- Coordinate required tools, equipment, and materials for mechanical activities on site
- Provide technical guidance and supervision to mechanical teams throughout project phases
Requirements
- Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience supervising mechanical works within heavy industry environments such as steel plants, rolling mills, metals processing facilities, or large industrial plants
- Proven experience in installation, maintenance, or commissioning of large industrial equipment and machinery
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and plant layouts
- Strong leadership and coordination skills with the ability to manage multicultural site teams
- Good knowledge of industrial safety standards and site supervision practices
- Experience working on international industrial projects or EPC environments is an advantage
- Good command of English; additional languages are considered beneficial
- Willingness to travel and work on-site for international projects
The role involves supervising site teams during installation, shutdowns, upgrades, and commissioning phases of industrial plants such as steel mills, rolling mills, continuous casting lines, and metal processing facilities.
The successful candidate will ensure that mechanical works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with engineering specifications, project schedules, and quality standards.
This position is suited for candidates with experience in heavy industry environments such as steel plants, rolling mills, industrial processing lines, or large mechanical equipment.
