TTI is seeking for a Financial Services Lawyer for one of our top clients. Our client is a leading multidisciplinary law firm renowned for its expertise in fintech, gaming, corporate law, and regulatory matters.
Tasks
- Provide legal advice and support to clients
- Conduct legal research and draft legal/judicial documents
- Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and procedures
- Support litigation matters, including court and tribunal proceedings
- Advise on employment law issues (disputes, compliance, redundancies, licensing)
- Contribute to fintech practice development and client work
- Advise on fintech and financial regulation (MiCA, CASPs, crypto-assets, EU frameworks)
- Support licensing, compliance, and regulatory matters (MFSA, EMIs, PSPs)
- Draft regulatory documentation and internal policies
Requirements
- 3+ years’ post-qualification experience (law firm or in-house)
- Experience in employment law and/or financial services/fintech
- Knowledge of Maltese and EU regulatory frameworks (e.g. MiCA, MiFID II)
- Strong analytical and drafting skills
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
- Experience with regulatory bodies (MFSA, FIAU is an asset)
- Proactive, organised, and able to work independently and in a team
- Commercial mindset with interest in fintech and regulatory developments
