TTI is seeking a Junior Compliance Executive for one of our top clients. A well-established professional services firm in Malta, known for its expertise in legal, corporate, and financial advisory, is currently expanding its team and seeking talented professionals to join their growing operation.
Tasks
- Support monitoring and review of communications with regulatory authorities
- Assist in collecting and maintaining client due diligence documentation
- Conduct client risk assessments at onboarding and during periodic reviews
- Perform client screening checks and escalate findings when needed
- Support client acceptance and re-evaluation processes in line with internal policies
- Liaise with internal teams to gather information for AML/CFT compliance
- Maintain and update internal records, both physical and electronic
- Assist with statutory filings and routine compliance tasks
- Support internal audits and compliance reviews
- Assist in updating policies and risk management procedures
- Support AML/CFT training sessions (materials and logistics)
- Ensure compliance with AML/CFT laws and assist in escalating suspicious activities
Requirements
- Up to 1 year of experience in AML/CFT or a similar compliance environment (internships included)
- Relevant qualifications or training in AML/CFT are an asset
- Basic knowledge of financial services regulations, particularly AML/CFT in Malta
- Familiarity with due diligence and AML procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
