Technical Sales Engineer (ELV) (m/f/o)

Tasks

• Coordinate and manage the full bid and tender preparation process
  
  
  
• Design cost-effective and technically viable ELV solutions aligned with client requirements
  
  
  
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including costings and value engineering
  
  
  
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors
  
  
  
• Lead technical and commercial meetings and negotiations
  
  
  
• Carry out site visits and surveys when required
  
  
  
• Follow up proposals and convert opportunities into contracts
  
  
  
• Create projects on ERP systems and manage documentation and handovers
  
  
  
• Support upselling, cross-selling, and variation opportunities
  
  
  
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and health & safety requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical sales or sales engineering
  
  
  
• Experience in fire safety and security systems (ELV)
  
  
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred
  
  
  
• Valid Maltese driving licence
  
  
  
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  
  
  
• Excellent organisational, time-management, and communication skills
  
  
  
• Ability to manage multiple enquiries and work with minimal supervision
  
  
  
• High attention to detail, professionalism, and confidentiality
  
  
  
• Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and leadership abilities
  
  
  
• Engineering warrant or willingness to obtain it is considered an asset
